Let's All Count

Who doesn't appreciate the instruction and humor presented by PBS's Sesame Street's character "The Count"? Well, if you remember the style, let's all play count the birdies:

One streamlined gull standing steady.

Two fine examples of feathery floaters
that are not floundering.

Three tiny birds teetering
on top of twisted wires.

Four, fat, feathered, flat-footed birds
lined up in formation for some fine food.
