On the now infamous date of 9/11/2001, I was scheduled to teach a class at the North Fairmount campus (at St. Leo's Place if I recall correctly) of Chatfield College. I and the students had a feeling of anxiety and uncertainty. Although the attacks had been far away, none of us was sure of what else was to happen. So, the students below decided to design concepts and pose for several photographs to illustrate their sentiment. In the bottom image, a student's red hoodie was used as backdrop, a metaphor for the spilled blood, and the joined hands were intended to symbolize complete unity against aggression.
